Search for security and open Windows Security

Click on ‘Virus and Threat protection.’

Click on ‘Virus & threat protection settings’ —> ‘Manage settings’

Find ‘Exclusions’ and click ‘Add or remove exclusions.’

We’ll need full Domain Admin access this time.

Click ‘Add an exclusion’ —> ‘Folder.’

Browse the the C:\\ drive and add a new folder.

I’ll call my Folder ‘EvilStuff’

• Select it and click ‘Select Folder’

You should see that ‘EvilStuff’ has been added as a Windows Defender excluded folder.

Browse to this folder in the File Explorer and click ‘View’ —> ‘Show’ —> ‘File name extensions.’
