Are you seeing this on one of your Domain Clients?

Log in as the local administrator

Find ‘Computer Name’ under ‘System Properties’

You can see that this computer has a name of ‘CLIENT2’ in my case.

Take a look in ‘Active Directory Users and Computers’ on your domain controller.
- If a computer exists with that hostname, go ahead and delete it.

On the Domain Client, Click we’ll need to take it off the domain and then put it back.
- Click the ‘Workgroup’ button.
- Type ‘WORKGROUP’ in the field
- Click OK
- You’ll get a warning about leaving the domain. Click OK.

Enter the domain administrator credentials when prompted and click ‘OK.’
- You’ll see the popup indicating that you are no longer a part of the domain.
