Welcome to the iCSI CTF.

You’ll need a Kali Linux machine in order to participate.

• You can create one from scratch if you know how.
• You can download a premade template here.

Step 1: Open the Template

• Right-click on the .zip file and choose ‘Extract All…’
• Choose ‘Extract’ when prompted.

Step 2: Open the Virtual Machine

Browse to the folder you extracted and find the file Ubuntu.vmx

• Although it says Ubuntu, it is Kali Linux

Select the Kali_2024 Virtual Machine and click the green arrow.

Choose ‘I Copied It’

The credentials to log in once it has booted up are as follows:

• username: student
• password: student
