This activity requires two primary resources:

• The CTF website will be hosted in VMWare.
  • Download the Virtual Machine here. (9GB)
  • Ideal Setting: 8GB RAM.
• Each student will utilize Kali Linux
  • Student Guide Here

Step 1: Unzip the CTF Platform Virtual Machine.

Step 2: Open the Virtual Machine in VMWare Player

• Click ‘Open a Virtual Machine’

Browse to Ubuntu_22.04.vmx

Click ‘Play’

Choose ‘I Copied It’

Step 3: Identify the IP Address of the Virtual Machine

Students will need to make one configuration change on their Kali Linux machines.

• They will modify their /etc/hosts file.
• You will need to post the IP Address of this Virtual Machine somewhere they can see/find it.
